It's ironic really. The girls and boys of the Cherrypops who just made music so they could listen  to some tunes in their car. Their car tape was soon wanted by lots of friends and friends of friends  and so their song "Wolken Zucker Himmel" was finally played by some German radio stations like WDR 1Live, Radio Eins Berlin, Radio FSK Hamburg and Radio Frei Erfurt.

They are the Cherrypops and their mission is to put the fun back onto the stage and the dance floor no matter what it takes. Together they are quite the picture – the girls and boys are a partnership of beat twisted mayhem, swinging garage pop hair a-flying and their trademark air raid sirens wailing. Yes indeed, the Cherrypops are gonna sort you out.

According to the Cherrypops philosophy, the people who are making today’s music are far too serious for their job. Where's the pleasure in making music anymore - or does each track have to be able to look into the inner soul and explore the psyche? The Cherrypops have made sure the ride has been as much fun as possible.
